White Water Lily Ointment

$20.00

White Water Lily ointment is an oil and wax-based topical medication of wild harvested American white water lily (nymphaea odorata spp) for the temporary relief of the inflammation and irritation of the skin, dermal wounds, and mucus membranes. It is gentle enough for sensitive and irritated skin and can be used as a deep moisturizer for all skin types. Water lilies have been used in food, beauty, and medicine since prehistory by indigenous Mesoamericans, the Mississippian culture, and the Anishinaabe peoples. Scientific studies have revealed water lilies to be a natural source of aporphine alkaloids with positive results for relieving inflammation, cold pain, and anxiety. Skincare studies have shown water lily purifies the skin of environmental pollutants and protects the skin barrier.

Applications

White Water Lily ointment can be used topically for the temporary relief of the  inflammation and irritation of the skin and mucus membranes. White water lily brings soothing and cooling relief to hot inflamed skin, swelling, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, other skin conditions, bruising, burns, sunburn, minor cuts, scratches, insect bites, stings, eye inflammation, conjunctivitis, hemorrhoids, and a burning bum hole after diarrhea.

White water lily ointment is antiseptic, antibacterial, and astringent for helping to speed the healing of wounds and prevent infection.

White water lily ointment is deeply moisturizing and made with skin-friendly non-comedogenic oils that don’t clog pores. Apply as needed to hands, nails, feet, elbows, and knees. Apply a thick layer to dry, cracked heels and allow to air dry for 10-20 mins before covering with socks. Apply to nostrils and lips to soothe dryness and inflammation from nose blowing due to cold viruses.

Apply the ointment to the temples, neck, shoulders, and lower back to help soothe anxiety, stress, frayed nerves, and to act as a gentle sedative safe for daily long-term use.

Because water lily ointment is safe for mucus membranes, it can be used for soothing genital dryness, irritation, and inflammation, external STI symptoms of the genitals and mouth, vaginal issues, genital and anus chafing and swelling from sexual activity.
