A simple alcohol tincture of locally wild harvested white water lily rhizomes (nymphaea odorata spp.). That’s it, pure and simple. The rhizomes of Nymphaea odorata are the primary part used in Native American traditional medicine. Water lily rhizomes are antibacterial, astringent, demulcent, anti-inflammatory, and internally cooling and moisturizing. The tincture can soothe inflamed mucous membranes, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory issues, menstrual issues, uterine issues, and STI symptoms. Tincture of water lily rhizome is antibacterial, astringent, demulcent, and anti-inflammatory. It is cooling and moisturizing to the body’s tissues. Used in traditional medicine to tone and balance the body’s internal fluids and soothe hot, inflamed internal mucosal tissues and mucous membranes. Can be used for internal mouth sores and injuries, inflamed gums, inflamed tonsils, sore throat, and to soothe the mouth, esophagus, and digestive system after eating foods that are too spicy. Can help with respiratory infections, coughs, and colds. It is helpful to those who suffer from ulcers, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal or urinary tract inflammation and irritation. It can help soothe issues of the reproductive and sexual organs such as excessive discharge, sexual transmitted infections, menstrual issues, and uterine issues and diseases.
