Purple Foxglove Seeds

$3.50

Foxglove (digitalis purpurea), is a beloved cottage garden flower and deadly poison famous for its use in heart medication, but has since been replaced with safer alternatives. Its original range is Western Europe, but foxgloves have since naturalized across the globe and are considered invasive in some regions. Foxgloves are tall, attractive flowers that are showiest in spring, early summer, and autumn. As foxgloves are highly toxic, always wear gloves and handle foxgloves gently with great care when planting, transplanting, or pruning.

Growing Instructions: Sow directly in soil in the fall or spring or start indoors a few weeks early in spring. Foxgloves are cold hardy and prefer to germinate in cool spring weather. Foxgloves plants may not bloom in their first year. Not suitable for indoor container gardening.
