Datura Inoxia Seeds


Downy Thorn Apple (datura inoxia) is one of the most attractive species of wild datura with divinely scented white trumpet flowers and soft velvety leaves. This poisonous ornamental flower is native to North, Central, and South America. It prefers a hot, dry climate but is very adaptable to most habitats as long as full sun is provided.

Growing Instructions: sow indoors in spring with seed starting mix or sow directly in the garden after risk of frost has passed. Seeds can be sown in the fall to germinate in the spring. Germinates best in warm sunny weather. Can be planted in containers or in the ground but be aware of the plant’s large size. Prefers full sun and sandy, well-drained soil. Doesn’t require fertilizer. Drought resistant. Deer resistant. Soil remediator.
