This ointment is for those who venerate the ancestors as well as those who work more closely with death; grave tenders, morticians, researchers, pyschopomps, and necromancers. The ingredients are traditional herbs for working with the dead. They raise spirits, protect from spirits, and aid in travelling to the underworld. Henbane to summon and speak with the dead, wormwood & juniper to protect from ghosts and prevent attachment and possession, poplar buds to help separate spirit and body, and the ancient yew tree as a key to the underworld’s door.
